Quantum Knight

Description

Quantum Knight is a 15 x 9 x 11 marble carving. The work is inspired by the movements of nature. I enjoy the swirling movement of the lines on my fingertips and the way that water cascades about the earth. This is a free form direct stone carving produced with a hammer chisel and sanding blocks. The stone was exhibited in shows at “Quill and Kiln” Juried Exhibition Ohr–O’Keef Mseum of Art, Biloxi, Mississippi Nov., 2000 – January 2001 and also at the Washington County Museum in Hagerstown, MD, October 2014-January 2015.
